LUCCIOLE.
Nei boschi e nei prati italiani, nelle notti più buie, tra fine maggio e metà giugno, risplendevano numerose le lucciole. Ora sono in via di estinzione, a causa dell’inquinamento, dell’impiego di pesticidi e della distruzione degli habitat naturali. Riuscire a vedere le lucciole di questi tempi è davvero una fortuna. Le foto che ho fatto quest’anno sono il frutto di due sessioni realizzate con luna nuova, nell’Oasi Naturale Palude Brabbia in provincia di Varese. Ad eccezione dell’ultima (scatto singolo), sono multi-esposizioni di 30 secondi ciascuna.
FIREFLIES.
In the Italian woods and meadows, in the darkest nights, between the end of May and the middle of June, many fireflies shone. Now they are on the verge of extinction, a cause of pollution, the use of pesticides and the breaking of natural habitats. Being able to see fireflies these days is really a fortune. The photos I made were made with the new moon, in the Brabbia Natural Oasis Brabbia in the province of Varese. With the exception of the last (single shot), they are multi-exposures of 30 seconds each.
